Account Reconciliations

Statements and Ledgers, Matched Line by Line.

Get back books that balance — without needing to hand over account access!

Example — Send your company's bank and credit card statement along with a ledger — NetSuite, QuickBooks, Xero, Wave, Excel, or whatever your company uses — and we will reconcile everything in a timely manner by hand: every deposit, withdrawal, customer payment, bill payment and even journals are traced and confirmed. No bank logins, no read-only linking, no third-party account access is needed. Never!

Process

How a reconciliation runs, start to finish

Four steps, all working from copies of your documents — nothing is ever connected to your live accounts.

Specifics below are examples, not an exhaustive list

01

Send company documents

Export or download the statement, report, or balance for the period that needs reconciled — a bank or credit card account, a payroll report, an AR/AP aging, an intercompany balance, whatever applies — along with the associated ledger (NetSuite, QuickBooks, Xero, Wave, Excel). Send them by email or a shared folder, whatever is most comfortable.

02

Line-by-line matching

Every transaction on the statement is traced against a corresponding ledger entry: every deposit, withdrawal, customer payment, bill payment and journals.

03

Discrepancies documented

Anything that doesn't line up — a missing deposit, a duplicate charge, a timing difference, an un-cleared check — is written up in plain language, not just flagged with a red mark.

04

Get a finished report

A completed reconciliation summary and any suggested adjusting entries come back detailed, ready for month-end close or it can be handed straight to an accountant if needed.

Examples

Why documents, not access

You keep your credentials. We do the reconciling.

Reconciliation only requires seeing what already happened on the statement and in the ledger — not the ability to move money or manage the account itself.

No logins, ever requested

No logins, no passwords, no security questions, no account credentials of any kind. If a form ever asks for those, it isn't from us.

No read-only linking either

No Plaid-style connections or "view-only" account access. Everything runs off the copies of documents that are chosen to be sent.

Control what's shared

Send full statements or just the pages that matter — whichever is more comfortable. Share for the period that needs reconciled.

Any ledger format works

NetSuite, QuickBooks, Xero, Wave, Excel, or a handwritten ledger that has been typed up — the reconciliation adapts as needed.

Pricing

Based on the books, not an hourly or flat rate

Two businesses rarely have the same number of accounts, transaction volume, or backlog — so every engagement gets a quote sized to the actual work, not a one-size price list.

Based on
Transaction volume and number of line items per statement period. $0.50 per transaction reviewed.
Based on
Number of accounts or ledgers being reconciled together. $5 per pair.
Based on
Whether it's an ongoing monthly reconciliation or a one-time backlog / catch-up cleanup.
Your quote
A clear, itemized quote before any work begins — no surprise charges partway through.

Send over what's needed

Fill in a few details and a note about what needs reconciling — statement periods, which accounts, and how far behind (if at all) the ledger is. A quote and next steps will be sent by email.

Note: Sending documents is the default, but if your company would rather connect directly, we're also glad to connect to your ERP system or bank account in read-only mode instead.

Opens an email to send this along — nothing is submitted automatically.

Your email app should be opening now — if not, email the address to the left directly.
